Payment Options & Terms

Before you make your online purchase, it is important to note that all prices are shown in Australian dollars ($AUD) and all transactions and shipping costs will be calculated and processed in Australian Dollars. If you reside outside Australia, you are encouraged to visit www.xe.com (an online currency converter) to calculate costs etc in your currency.

In order to make a purchase, you must first register as a member. Definitive Colour and Style accepts payments by PayPal. You will need to set up a PayPal account to purchase products. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on credit card security measures.

For all merchandise purchased through Definitive Colour and Style, a 10% Goods & Services Tax (GST) is payable by Australian law. For all Australian residents or Australian shipping addresses, this 10% GST will be included in your order.

For International customers, the 10% GST will not be charged by Definitive Colour and Style. However, it is your sole responsibility to research your country’s applicable import/duty taxes as you are liable to pay them on receipt of your packages.

Ordering and Shipping Policy

Definitive Colour and Style delivers around the globe. We use Australia Post Express Post packs for Australia wide deliveries and Australia Post Express Courier International Services to offer you the fastest and most efficient delivery possible. To ensure the safe delivery of your products, all our shipping services require a signature on receipt. Please ensure you select an appropriate delivery address. We encourage a business address where possible as deliveries are between Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm.

Processing Your Order

• Orders received between Monday and Friday before 2pm Eastern Standard Time will be processed that day for next day shipment.
• Orders will be shipped within 72 hours of receipt, unless your order is placed over a weekend or public holiday period.
• Orders will not be dispatched on Saturdays, Sundays or national public holidays. They will be processed and dispatched the following business day.
• Before we dispatch your order we personally inspect your items to ensure they are in perfect condition. Your items are then carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in the same condition. In the event your goods arrive in a damaged or less than perfect condition, please notify us immediately so that we can address the handling with our shipping company or Australia Post.

Returns

You must notify Definitive Colour & Style of your intention to return a product within seven days of delivery by emailing  products@definitivecolourandstyle.com.au

Return postage will be at your own expense. Please post your return item with a copy of your invoice.

Items must be returned in their original condition. Please ensure the item is bubble wrapped and protected or we will not accept the return. Once we receive the item/s, we will inspect them to ensure they are in as new condition before offering an exchange or refund.

Asia-Pacific, USA, UK and Europe Returns

Items to be returned from outside Australia should be sent no slower that registered mail and must be endorsed ‘return of goods’.
You are required to pay the return charges.

Privacy & Security

Definitive Colour & Style is fully committed to, providing a secure website and shopping environment and, protecting your privacy. In accordance with the Privacy Act 198 and the December 2001 amendments to the ‘Act’, any personal information collected through Definitive Colour and Style will be handled with the strictest confidence, stored securely and never on-sold or shared with any third party.

Definitive Colour & Style collects personal information such as email and shipping addresses, and name details through your membership registration. This information remains the sole property of Definitive Colour and Style and will not be sold to or shared with any other organization or third party.
When you sign up as a Definitive Colour and Style member, any personal information provided such as email addresses, phone numbers, delivery address etc will remain strictly confidential.

No credit card information is stored by Definitive Colour and Style. The payment system uses an encrypted connection to ensure that all payment information is secure. No person will ever see your credit card number if provided online and for security reasons we do not store your credit card details. Through our payment gateway we are able to recharge your card should additional items be ordered, however we are unable to see or access your details.
Due to the nature of the internet, there is certain information that is automatically logged during your navigation of the Definitive Colour and Style website. This information can include your IP address and the browser that you are using, however the information gathered is purely statistical and is solely used to further develop our site and improve our systems and practices. The information gathered in this manner is in no way linked to any personal information collected through membership or purchasing processes.

As a member of Definitive Colour and Style, you will receive occasional email updates in the form of our eNewletter. The contents will relate to new products being developed or updated and will also keep you up-to-date with any promotional offers or Definitive Colour and Style events. You will have the ability to ‘opt out’ from receiving this material at any time.
